Removing toolbar buttons

I know how to place a button on the toolbar and/or remove
it to the "holding area". Somehow I got a "XXX" button
that searches adult sites. I have placed it in
the "holding area" but I want it completely deleted. I
have already found the program and the registry entries.
I have removed the program and registry entries. But the
silly "XXX" remains available. How can I completely
remove this button?
