Removing the first DC from the forest root domain

Hi everyone,

I recently heard some rumours about "problems" that may arise when the
very first DC ever created in a forest gets removed, e.g. when the
hardware gets decommissioned.

Given that the normal precautions (moving FSMO roles, GC and time
services) are taken, is there anything else to keep in mind ...?

Maybe license server. As long as you have another DC and
move all the roles and other jobs then it works fine.
