Removing the Black Background from ComboBox on Reports ????

How do I remove the black background from a combo box when viewed in Print
Preview and in Printing in general? I would like the background the same as
all my other text backgrounds (transparent) and the letters black.

Can I ask why you are using a combo box on a report?

Hi Duane,

The Combo Box is coming from a field on one of my tables which allows the
user to select from either an active or retired status for the applications
this mdb is tracking ...
Perhaps I should set this up in a different fashion?

Apparently you have set up a lookup field. Please read
http://www.mvps.org/access/lookupfields.htm. You should be able to add the
table that is the Row Source of the combo box to your report's record source
and add the appropriate field.

Hi Duane,

The simpest & most appropriate best answer was in your simple question back
to me ... why was I using a combo box on a report (albeit via a table).
You're right, I just moved the combo box to the appropriate 'form' (dah) and
removed it from the table ... allowing the reports to display the information
in a nice, consistent fashion.
