Removing reminder messages

A reminder pops up and will not go away. It says
reminder and todays date in the top title bar, the body
of the reminder is like you get when you get the "web
page not available" notice
 
if that is a compaq system, perform the steps given:


Method 1: Delete the HPSDPAPP.EXE file which can be found at the following
location:

1. Open My Computer.
2. Open C: and then on Program Files folder.
3. Open Easy Internet Signup folder.
4. Find HPSDPAPP.exe file and right-click on it.
5. Select Delete and click OK for the warning message.
6. Restart the computer.

Method 2 : Remove HPSDPAPP.EXE from startup using Msconfig, if listed:

1. Click Start and select Run.
2. Type "msconfig" and press Enter.
3. Click the Startup tab.
4. Deselect the HPSDPAPP.EXE program
5. Click Apply and Ok.
6. Restart the computer.

Method 3: Remove HPSDPAPP.EXE from Add/Remove Programs, if listed.

Take the steps given below to remove the application from Add/Remove
programs:

1. Click Start and select Control Panel.
2. Click Add or Remove Programs
3. This should list all installed application, scroll and look for entry
related to HPSDPAPP.EXE. If found select the application and click on
remove.
4. Restart the system if prompted.

sometimes if you right click on the upper left corner
without opening it, there will be a message that asks if
you want to delete it,hope this helps
