Evidently, in a pervious version of Word, you could "remove all personal
information from file properties on save" by by going
Tools>Options>Security.

How would I do this in Word 2007?

Thank you,

John

In Word 2007, go to Office button > Prepare > Inspect Document.

The option to remove the information on saving is present in the dialog at
Office button > Word Options > Trust Center > Trust Center Settings > Privacy
Options, but it is disabled for most documents. The help topic explains that
"this option is available only if you are working with a document that was
created in an earlier version of Office, and you used this option in that
version to remove personal information. To remove personal information from this
document, click Inspect Document."

You will find the setting here:
Office Button > Word Options > Trust Center category > Trust Center Settings
Privacy Options category > "Remove personal information from file
properties on save".
