Removing Old Hotmail Folders From Folder List: Outlook 2002

I have two "dead" Hotmail folders from the same account which I can't remove
from the Folders List. There is no association with anything. Each shows one
unread email and a few bulk items, but they will not open and do nothing.
Not sure if this is related to Outlook Connector or that I tried an Office
2003 demo, which I deleted and went back to Office XP. These folders aren't
really hurting anything other than they are in the view and I would like to
remove them. If anyone has any information, I would be most appreciative.

Thanks in advance,
Gregg

Hi Gregg,
I deleted an old hotmail account by going to File>Data File Managment> then
chose the accounts and just click remove. I thought it was too simple but it
worked for me!

Thanks, but they don't show up. The only thing that does show up is the
Outlook.pst location. I'll keep hacking away until I damage something
probably. :-)

Well of course you tried hitting it right? That always seems to help :) And
no right click delete either heh?

Have tried most everything. Yes, right click was the first thing I did and
there is no option to delete. I saw some information earlier about creating
a new profile and importing settings. Could probably live with the two
non-functional folders as opposed to really screwing things up. Half the fun
of using a computer is screwing things up and fixing them. Seems to be some
sort of hobby of mine. :-)
