hi i am using winxp pro + sp2 and i have a cable and wirless network and what
i whant to do is to remove the icon of no network when one of them is
disconected from the tray bar but i cant the only way for me to do that is to
disable the network that i am not using.

is there a way to set winxp not to show the tray icon when a network is down?

Hi

You can check or uncheck the presence of the icon in the Connection's
properties. However it either Show or does Not Show regardless of the
connection's status.

The only way to remove the "disconnected" icon would be to disable that
network interface in Device Manager.
