REMOVING NERO 7

I am installing a new drive that uses a different form of nero. I am getting
a message that says to remove the existing version I already have by using
add/ remove programs function in the control panel. Ok, when I select it for
removal it comes up with a message that shows shelldata missing or corrupted
and fails the uninstall. I have tried to use the repair function and have
tried to reinstall the program. The same message keeps popping up about the
shelldata. How do I get this program off my computer?
