Removing Input Masks

Right-click on the field in the QBE design grid - select Properties.
On the Properties dialog box highlight the Input Mask property value &
hit the delete key. Save the query.

Will this also work within a table, rather than a query?
The problem is there are duplicates of the same custom
input mask in a given field, and I want to delete the
extras.
