Removing history from the URL field.

OK Gang....when I go to put the URL in the web address field, I can see a
bunch of other URLS from the past in there.

How do I get the browser to stop showing history like that?

I have

There should be a way to do this within IE without having to add extra
software.

They're there with your permission.

IE Tools | Internet Options | Privacy | Autocomplete | Settings: Disable
Autocomplete for "Web addresses" and you won't have any more of these MRUs
from that point on.
