Removing Games using an unattended installation

Martin Searle

Hi,

I have managed to remove games like hearts, freecell etc
from my unattended installation but I have been unable to
find how to remove games like internet hearts and internet
spades :

Here's what I've got at the mo. :

[Components]
freecell=off
hearts=off
Minesweeper=off
pinball=off
Solitaire=off
internetspades=off
internethearts=off
spidersolatire=off
internetreversi=off
internetcheckers=off

The last 5 fail to get rid of their respective games, can
anyone tell me what the correct entries should be for
this ?.

Thanks in advance

Martin,

Have you tried:
internetgames=off

When I remove various 'hide' entries in C:\Windows\inf\sysoc.infsysoc.inf to
get at hidden options in 'Add/Remove Windows Components' it shows the
Internet-based games all lumped together instead of as individual entries.

Martin,

Have you tried:
internetgames=off

When I remove various 'hide' entries in
C:\Windows\inf\sysoc.infsysoc.inf <snip>

Whilst internetgames=off didn't actually do anything the
pointer to the sysoc.inf file allowed me to fix the
problem.

You need to add :

ZoneGames=off
Spider=off

To remove the internet games and Spider solataire.

Can't have those pesky students playing games whilst they
should be working ! ;-).

Many thanks,
