Removing ' From A Cell

M

Minitman

Greetings,

I have a lot of cells that are using '0.00 to show as no hours. I
have since modified my formula to make this '0.00 obsolete. I just
need a 0 in that cell instead. When I try to do a Find and Replace I
get an error message saying:

Microsoft Office Excel cannot find the data you are searching for.

Is there any way to look for this '0.00 in Excel?

Any help would be appreciated.

TIA

Try this......

Format an empty cell to General.

Copy that cell.

Select all cells to modify. Format as General.

Paste Special>Add>OK>Esc

If they're in columns, you can quickly and easily eliminate them by simply
opening and closing TTC.

Select the data, then
<Data> <Text To Columns> <Finish>
And you're done!

By accident.
With <Back> grayed out, and <Cancel> not, ever wonder why there *is* a
<Finish> on that first page?
