removing folders from the task bar

The "My Music" folder appears as a permanent part of the task bar,
unlike the folders to the left of it, which are just temporary parts
of it.

My question is... how do I remove it?

Have you tried right clicking on it. If you have, what have you tried?

You've probably added it as a toolbar. Right-click on an empty area of the
Taskbar. One of the options is Toolbars. Select this option and slide your
cursor to the right to see what toolbars are available and selected. If you
see Desktop or My Music or My Documents, click on it to close that Toolbar.
