I mistyped a email address in the sign-in as... dialog
and now it always comes up first in the list. I want to
delete it. How can I, where is it stored?

Greetings David,

You can remove Passports in the sign in list by clicking the Start Button, then click the
Control Panel. Then, click User Accounts in the Control Panel. Select your account name, and
then on the left side of the screen, under Related Tasks, click 'Manage my Network
Passwords'. In the window that opens, you can remove accounts by clicking the passport you
wish to delete [denoted by (Passport)], and then click the 'Remove' button.

Ihave looked in that location. What I see is:

[Stored User Names and Passwords]

(e-mail address removed) (Passport)
(e-mail address removed) (Passport)
Passport.Net\* (Passport)

Now the first two are fine, the last one is not what I am
seeing in the login dialog, but I hate to delete it if it
is important. I don't know where it came from but it
looks official :)

So I don't think what you told me will do the trick.

Jonathan,
I have looked in the list. I don't see the e-mail
address that I am having troubles with. What I do have
is:
(e-mail address removed) (Passport)
(e-mail address removed) (Passport)
Passport.Net\* (Passport)

This is consistent through two systems.
One system I entered to log on to Messenger:

(e-mail address removed) (not sure if I gave a
password etc).

It now remembers this entry.
The problem is the dropdown dialog control (Sign in
as...). I need to know where it gets its list from I
suppose.

So now what?
