Removing Duplicate and Triplicate entries

R

Robert

In Microsoft Outlook, I have duplicate and triplicate of
calendar, task and contact entries, which until recently
I could delete either in mass or one at a time. These
duplicates and triplicates result from synchronizing my
Palm PDA with Outlook. I am now unable to delete any of
these duplicate and triplicate entries and get the
following message: "The messaging interface has returned
an unknown error. If the problem persists, restart
Outlook. I have restarted Outlook and even reinstalled a
differenct version of Outlook, but the problem persists.

Please advise as to how I can resolve this problem I also
rean the scanpst.exe file to try and repair the problem;
however this did not work either.

Thanks for your help

For a small price, you can get a little utility for the Palm called UnDupe.
It works wonderfully (wish it would be ported to PPCs...)

You can delete all duplicates on the Palm, set the Palm to override the PC
and your work is done.
