Removing default document

I typed a document and saved it. I don't know what happened, but everytime I
load Word or create a new document, this document shows up as a default. How
can I remove this ?

Either open the Normal template as a document and clear the undesired
contents, or simply rename the file in Windows and have Word create a
fresh copy for you. See
