Removing "Calculate" Promp - Excel 2000

I have an Excel 2000 workbook and can't remove the "Calculate" prompt
Here are the conditions:

1. I've selected "automatic" on the Tools--> Calculations menu.
2. There are no bugs in the program because this issue doesn't arise i
other workbooks I have running on it.
3. There aren't more than 65,000+ dependencies in the workbook.
4. There are no macros.

Basically, I need the worksheet to automatically recalculate whenever
change an input value, but am still prompted to press F9 to recalc. Th
'Calculate" prompt seems to have popped up out of nowhere (although
can't trace its source). Any ideas? Thanks

Hi
if you have checked out all these topics you may try to create a new
fresh workbook and copy your data to it and see if this helps

I have a myriad of column widths, formulas, tabs, etc. Any ideas on the
most efficient way to copy the workbook data to a new workbook (other
than just copying and pasting by tab)? Thanks.
