Remove Windows XP

format the hard drive with the windows windows 98 start up disk.
you will also lose your data so back it up first.

download the start up disk at bootdisk.com.

start your computer with the floppy inserted and at the prompt, type 'format
c:' (where 'c' is the letter of your hard drive, )
