remove view ruler icon?

In outlook 2007, any way to remove the View Ruler icon in the new message
window, the one over by the scroll bar? I keep clicking it instead of the
scroll up arrow. My aim isn't as good as it used to be...

That's a good suggestion, though he might not have a mouse with a wheel.

He could also use the arrows on the keyboard instead, or maybe just click a
little lower on the bar (if he misses the up arrow, he'll still hit the
scroll bar above where he currently is).

To answer the question though, no, I don't believe there's any way to remove
the View Ruler icon.
