I bought a computer off the shelf at Frys with Vista Home Premium. Now Frys
name keeps popping up and I want to know how to remove it permenatly. I
opened the Registry where I found it under C:\Users\frys\AppData\Local\Temp.
I have saved the Registry by exporting it to a second drive. Now, what is the
best way to remove frys or replace it with my name?

Thanks.

Nuke Vista and install Ubuntu. Get it here: www.ubuntu.com/

Use User Accounts in control panel to create two new admin users with the
names you prefer, copy the frys profile over to one user, and then delete
the frys and other user account.
You must log on as the extra new user to 'copy to' from frys to the new
account

start orb, type sysdm.cpl
advanced tab/User accounts - Settings button
