Remove unused disconnected drives

I have a user who has mapped drives showing disconnected. They are
disconnected, as she is no longer on the network. I had her try and
disconnect the virtual drive letter, as she doesn't like looking at them. It
wouldn't let her disconnect, and, it is still showing up in her "My
computer". My question is how to delete the non-usable mapped drives. Is
there something in the regestry? I had her do a net use */delete command at
the command prompt, but, that didn't work.
Thank you...

Try these:

net use /persistent:no
net use Q: /del
net use R: /del
etc.
