Sorry. Word Version 2002. After shutting everything down, I came in to work
today and opened a new document. This time I was the sole reviewer.
Sometimes, reviewers show up in a document and I know they weren't around
when the document started, but I can't delete them.
Possibly, they're User Information is still around somewhere in the system?
It's what's under Tools/Options/User Information that Word uses. Another
possibility would be that someone used an existing document or template that
was created when the people were around.
In any case, with Word 2002 you could try saving the file as RTF or HTML (the
full round-trip kind). Then it can be opened as a "plain text" file and you
should be able to use Edit/Find to locate the entries and delete them. Of
course, "hacking" a file like this can be a bit tricky until you know what
you're doing. So it's wise to keep a back up of the original around until
you're sure the result is stable.
