Remove password setting for opening a database

How do you remove the initial log on and password dialog box that pops up
when you open a database? I was experimenting with another database and made
the user log on before accessing the database. But now, no matter which
microsoft access application database I open it is always asking me for a
user id and password. I want to turn this off completely but can't seem to
find out how?

Open the database exclusively (File->Open...Open Exclusive). Then unset the
database password (Tools->Security->Unset Database Password...).

You are likely joined by default to another workgroup information file
(mdw). When you experimented with the other database, did you run the
security wizard, or create a new mdw?

Use workgroup administrator (Tools, security menu) and rejoin the standard
system.mdw that ships with Access (do a search for it first).
