I have Office 2003. In Outlook, for some unknown reason a dozen Notes showed
up in Favorite Folders, in Mail, where my selected email folders are.
1-Why?
2-How do I get them out of it?
I do not want to delete the Note from My Notes.
Folders are removed by clicking on the right mouse button to get the command,
"Remove from Favorite Folders."
That option is not available for Notes.

HELP ME. It is very annoying.

-----Don't abuse the suggestion feature for issues-----

Sounds like you have a corrupted Navigation Pane. Reset it by;
Start-> Run; outlook.exe /resetnavpane

THis IS a suggestion: Give Notes the same option to be removed from Favorite
Folders. Your suggestion does not work. OR you need to be more precise.

No, it is an issue. Those folders shouldn't be there in the first place.
Only mail folders can exist there. This means that your Navigation Pane is
corrupted. Make sure Outlook is closed (check that the outlook.exe process
isn't running anymore) and run the command given in my earlier post.
