So what does your anti-virus program do? Anything? What do you use?
Do you use anti-virus software? If not, what prompted you that you have
the virus? What anti-spyware tools do you use?

Norton has several heuristic rules that it uses to detect intrusions and
malicious behavior. Those get updated periodically but nowhere near as
often as the signature updates. If their rule is false identifying a
process or behavior as a trojan, you report it to them. I once had one
of those rules (for which Symantec won't reveal how they work) and they
fixed it in their next update. Use Symantec's online web form to submit
a tech question. They usually get back within 3 to 4 business days.
