Remove items from Add/Remove Programs?

Could have sworn I saw a setting in XP somewhere that would allow my to
remove items from the Add/Remove Programs list....

Not to uninstall them.... just remove them from the list.....

just can't find it now..... any one know?

1.) Open the Registry Editor
2.) Navigate to
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall
3.) Locate and delete the subkey for the program you want removed.

PS- I have also coded my own uninstall program that also allows you to
add/remove programs to the list. Email me if you're interested.
