Yes, it is if you are dealing with XPe Embedded. Just remove/disable IE components from your configuration.
Or turn off Auto-Resolve dependency feature in TD.
However, keep in mind that some system components have hard dependency on the IE or some components from the IE stack (like WinInet,
MsHtml and etc.) so you may break those apps by excluding IE.
It is going to be up to you and your testing to find out whether IE is required in your image.
