Remove formatting

Hi,

Someone in our organization created a word document that was edited. There
is various Formatting boxes that appear all over the document. I think the
user said that they had already accepted the various changes. Anyway,
anytime anyone with Word 2003 opens this file that get all of the formatting
information as well. We want to hide this feature so that they only see the
document and not all of the formatting. I have Word 2002 and this formatting
does not appear in the document when I open it up. Can someone help?
