In Word, assuming one wants to expunge all evidence that one had edited a
document, there are a number of places that retain personal information that
I am aware of. These include the following: Track changes and Comments; on
the Reviewing Toolbar, Show > Reviewers can list names; under the File Menu,
Versions may list names; under the File menu, Properties lists your name in
several places (thanks to a previous poster, sorry I didn't write down name,
I now know that these can be removed by checking the box under Tools menu:
Options, Security tab). Are there any other places in Word that hides
personal information, or have I found them all? I am using Word 2003 running
under XP Professional v. 2002. Thanks!
