Remove dropdown address listings of local files on pc

my question is I currently have IE 6 Service Pack 1 and what I basically need to know is. Is there a way for me to disable the automatic address lookup of local pc files whenever I start typing a letter on the address bar of IE? Do you know if this possible...in other words, it's really not pulling up currently viewed urls addresses because I delete the temp internet file and history. But what it's doing even after I delete the temp files is, say I type the letter "M" it will show "My Documents" and any other files that starts with "M" on my pc on the dropdown list...so bascally it's pulling up my local pc files/folders etc...can I disable this as well

I hope all that made sense, please let me know if you can help me
thanks in advance
