remove calendar from favorite folders

How do I remove 'Calendar' from my favorite folders in Outlook 2003? It
randomly appeared today and I don't know how since I thought only mail
folders could appear there.

On another note, when this happened, Tasks, Contacts and Notes began to
appear in 'Other Calendars' when I view my calendar. Why is this and how can
I remove them from my 'Other Calendars'? When I tried R/Cing and deleting
them, it says I don't have permission to delete the folder.

Help!

Thank you for your response. I have tried running that command switch
several times now and 'Calendar' still appears in my favorite folders and
those tasks, notes and contacts still appear in my 'Other Calendars' when I
view my calendar.

I had never used a command switch before so just to make sure I am doing it
right, I have been closing Outlook, going to the Start menu and choosing Run,
inputting the file path to outlook.exe, typing a space and then "/command
switch". Let me know if this isn't right.

I have the same issue.
Using Outlook 2003 and a "Calendar" entry just appeared in the Favorite
Folders.

I tried running
"c:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\OFFICE11\OUTLOOK.EXE" /resetnavbar
but I only get a beep and the message
"The command line argument is not valid. Verify the switch you are using."

That's because the switch is /resetnavpane, not /resetnavbar

Great, it worked!

Big caveat though - this appears to have reset several of my settings
include the "Use Cached Exchange Mode" account setting.
