Remove Avery Toolbar

Several of our analyst have an annoying Avery Toolbar and button that
displays each time a database is open (A2003, SP3). I have taken the steps
necessary to eliminate the toolbar for them (Tools/Customize & unselected the
toolbar), but it continues to come back. My installation of A2003 is
supposed to be identical to other analyst, but I do not get the offending
toolbar - in fact, it is not available to me. I am looking for suggestions
on how to get rid of the toolbar.

NOTE: We are in a 'locked down' work environment, so we can only change
things (registry, program install/uninstall, etc) via the Help Desk.

Bob

The Avery toolbar comes from a piece of software downloaded from Avery to
ease the process of printing labels. You need to go Tools/AddIn Manager and
uncheck Avery. That should kill the toolbar.

Kevin,

There is not an Avery add-in installed nor is it visible in the add-in
manager. I have been told that we have to have our IT people unstall the
'feature', which is what one of our analyst tried. I did not know this when
I posted my initial message.

Look in your Start/Control Panel/Install Uninstall Software and see if it
lets you remove the Avery Software. It may actually be installed in Office
vice Access. See if the toolbar shows in Word.
