Remove Autoplay from Fixed Drive menu

After installing some programs, every time I double-click my c: drive
icon, it tries to run some program. Right-clicking the c: drive shows
an autoplay menu option that was never there before. How do I remove
this option from the fixed drive?

Hi,

Locate and delete the autorun.inf file that accidentally got copied to the
root of the C:\ drive.
