remove automatic date insertion

How do I remove the date/time that appears on top of all my documents? This
does not appear on my documents when I am working on them only when I print
them. In fact the date/time appears on every sheet of paper even blanks.
Currently using Office 2003. I'm a little at a loss with computers

Check the settings of your printer (in Control Panel). Did you activate an
option to include the date with the document?

Hey Stefan Blom,
Sorry that did not work as the same printer is connected to windows Vista
and 2000 O/S without the problem. It only happens in XP. Thanx anyway

Note that the settings are not likely to be the same on different systems,
because the printer driver is installed locally. Did you look at the
settings for the computer with XP installed?

Did I mention all the O/Systems are used on the same pc by means caddies
carrying other hard drives

I'm not sure which settings, if any, can be shared across different
operating systems. I suspect, though, that printer drivers would not be
shared. You'd better ask in a Windows newsgroup.
