Remove Acronis from Startup List?

I've just reinstalled XP Home. I then installed Acronis True Image Home
v10. I see in my startup list three Acronis entries:
Acronis Scheduler
Accronis TimeounterMonitor
TrueImageMonitor

I create backups and images manually. Do I need to have these services
running at startup? Is it safe for me to turn them off?

Thank you.

I had looked on the Acronis site but didn't find a forum. I'll check there.
I appreciate your help; I also notice that you often refer posters to other
sites.

OK. I went there, and 15 minutes and 18 screens later, I had gotten
registered and left a message. I'll check back tomorrow and see if there's
an answer.

In this case - you were asking about (completely) a third party product and
the functionality of said product (what needed to be running at all times,
if anything, etc.) - so referring you to the people who actually created and
are supposedly supporting said product would be the correct course of action
(especially when suggested in response to a posting in a Windows XP oriented
'Performance and Maintenance newsgroup.)

Have you contacted Acronis' Technical Support?
https://www.acronis.com/homecomputing/my/support/

Did you follow the rest of the "Read before you Post" 'suggestions' in the
Acronis forums?
http://www.wilderssecurity.com/showthread.php?t=55317

Particularly, "Please note that contacting Acronis Customer Service is the
most effective way to resolve your problems."

You could also just *not* start the three items for a boot and see what
happens. Chances are - nothing in Windows - but the reaction of Acronis
might be different.

This is a question for Acronis, not Windows XP.

However, I have ATI v10, also. And, I perused their forums and found they
must be running. I also googled, and found they must be running.

I have Acronis Ver.10.0, build 4,871 and am doing exactly as you wish to
with no problems - they are not started on my system start-up by choice,
Acronis Scheduler set to start Manually, all monitoring functions etc
options deselected.
