We recently installed a new exchange 2003 server sp1 using windows server
2003 SP1 and moved all the mailboxes, shared folders, ect. per ms article
822931 over to the new exchange server. We have not uninstalled exchange
2003 on the old server. All the users at the main location with the exchange
server are working well. The remote users can not get on exchange with
outlook 2002 or older versions. We do not have any users using outlook 2003
in the remote locations yet. I know outlook uses RPC and I can not bring up
the admin share on the exchange server on the remote devices. I can do it
locally and I can get into the admin shares on all other servers at my
central site from the remote locations. It seems like this is should be some
simple fix but I can not figure it out.
