remote sites

I am looking to implement several remote sites ion a hub and spoke topology
from my current main site. All sites will have a Windows 2003 DC. The main
site has of course a DC running Windows 2003.

I have created a test lab and found out that the ISTG is automatically
creating site links between the remote sites. Is this advisabled in a hub
and spoke topology? I would like all sites to connect to the main site for
replication. Should I create the site connection objects manually ?

Once again it's a windows 2003 domain in native mode.
thanks in advance.

David,

In most cases people allow the KCC/ISTG to create these links. IIRC, the
'Bridge all Site Links' checkbox is checked by default.

What are your concerns with having all the Site Links bridged? What are the
link connection speeds involved? What are your replication schedules?

HTH,

Cary
