Remote shutdown

The "Shutdown" command when issued against a remote machine in a workgroup,
on which I am supposed to have administrative rights, I get "Access Denied".
That worked on XP. I cannot use RunAS for this command though. How can I
remotely shutdown the machine then?
 
I am assuming you are trying to remote shutdown a Vista machine? If so,
have you tried from an elevated command prompt?
