Remote Performance Monitor is not showing data from my program

Hi,

I've developed a .NET CF 2.0 application in C# with Visual Studio 2005.

I've installed the .NET CF Remote Performance Monitor (version 1.1.0.0) on
my desktop.

I'm targeting a Windows Mobile 5 device now, the Dell Axim x51v.

I've read http://blogs.msdn.com/stevenpr/archive/2006/04/17/577636.aspx
describing how to install the RPM.

On my Dell I couldn't install the xml file with RapiConfig as described on
that website. I got an 'access is denied' message.

I found
https://blogs.conchango.com/stuartpreston/archive/2005/11/10/2376.aspx and
performed the registry change as described in 'step 1' there.

That enabled me to run RapiConfig with the xml file.

I can start the RPM monitor, select my PDA and start my application via the
RPM.

But....I don't see any data in my RPM...:-( when I press the 'connect'
button, the application is started on my device, but I don't see data in RPM
and in the bottom right corner is written 'disconnected'.

I've tried to deploy my application in a 'release' variant and in a 'debug'
variant, but that didn't help.

How can I see data of my application in RPM?
