Hi, i dont know if this is possible, but a good
friend of mine just got a cable internet connection and
has his own home network set up at his house. At my house
i have the same, broadband connection and homenetwork, is
there any possible way (through program, or ip address)
that he could be added to my workgroup or me added to
his, or even merge our two home network workgroups into
one. The only thing we would share would be files, no
printing would be needed. Any help or advice would be
greatly appreciated,
Thanks Again,
Justin

Is it possible? Yeah. Is it wise? Nope, not without securing the
connection between the two computers. Anything you expose over the Internet
will be fair game for anyone who wants to try to hack into either of your
PCs.
