Hi
We had one active directory on our Head office and we got
some remote locations using only one PC and its on
diffrent subnet connecting through ISDN line
I make the PC on domain and take it on remote location
First day its worked fine
Other day i am not able to log on with Active directory
User account
Its giving error your password is wron or computer account
cannt contact on domain
I logged through local administrator I am able to reach
our head office network and computers
Please suggest how to configure the clients on this
situation
Regards

Lorance

Lorance,

Is there a Site-to-Site VPN between the headquarters and the remote
locations?

Are you saying that you create the computer account at the headquarters (
via loading WIN2000 or WINXP there, joining the computer account object to
the domain, logging on as domain user Joe Blow and configuring his
rofile ) where it does work - however once it arrives at the remote
location it will not work unless you are logged on as the local
Administrator ( but no go as Joe Blow )?

Is it safe to assume that the local Administrator account has the same
password as the Domain Administrator account?

HTH,

Cary
