Remote Installation

Hi Guys!

I am involved in a software company, and our new product has to be remotely
installed on computers in a corporate environment. I have the information
required for Server 2003, however, I cannot seem to get a definitive answer
for Server 2000.

Basically, I would like to know, step by step (if possible), how to set up
an .msi file to be executed upon logon for users that have been selected to
receive the software in a Windows Server 2000 environment.

Any help on this matter would be gratefully appreciated!

As I wrote before, I have a .msi file, but need to know how to install it
remotely over a network on a number of computers that are running as part of
a Windows Server 2000 Environment!

Ah, sorry, didn't fully understand the question.

That's just a matter of group policy.

If you assign it, rather than publish it, it will just finalize the
installation when the user clicks on the icon to use it.
