REMOTE INSTALLATION SERVICES?

Hello,

Does W2000 (or W2000 Advanced) Server have services or software able to
control client computers in Domain by means of remote installation,
adding/removing services etc. ?

Or is it only a question of scripting?
What scripting model is most suitable? And where to find tutorials and
samples?

Adding and removing software can be performed via Group Policy. You may
want to have a closer look at the group
"microsoft.public.win2000.group_policy".

As for adding and removing services and similar tasks, that is best suited
for scripting. I recommend checking out VBScript. It works well for these
type of tasks. Check out the group "microsoft.public.scripting.vbscript"
for more information. You'll usually find a good deal of samples in there
as well.
