If your office desktop is direct connected to the Internet (e.g DSL)
then you need to find out its IP address then make a conection to it
using remote desktop. It all depends on how your office is networked.
If you have a system administrator looking after things then ask them.
If you have Smal Business Server then there is a remote web workplace
already there.

Ask the network admins who manage your office network is the remote desktop ports are blocked or
not. Typically, in a corporate environment, unused ports are blocked to prevent malicious
activities.
You need to enable remote desktop on your office desktop. Control
Panel / System / Remote / Enable remote desktop [tick]
This won't work if your office PC is connected via a NAT router unless
you configure the router to "port forward" port 3389 to your PC IP.
NOTE If you do that make sure all accounts on your PC have a Username
AND password or you will get a trojan for sure!!!
All this depends on your skills for IP settings. Plus you will need to
log into the router itself (using IE) to change settings. As Ron said
- better to ask this question in a remote desktop group.
