Remote Desktop

Hi,

I have machines running Vista Business SP1. Trying to remote desktop to
these machines, nothing happens. The machines are part of a domain.

- Remote Desktop is enabled
- Firewall exceptions are enabled
- No 3rd party software (firewall/antivirus) installed
- Can ping machine and get response

Anything else I should try?

Yep, Remote desktop is allowed...

I would ask the Domain Admins if remote desktop is allowed. They may be
blocking it.

No response from any Vista machines. Can ping fine...

XP machines are all good. Windows 2003 Servers are all good... no error.
Very weird.

After installing SP1 RDT has stopped working.

Been using an XP and 98 computers to connect. Now nothing. 'Tis annoying.

Nothing changed but SP1.

I have checked all the settings. No Joy.

Another computer with Vista, no service pack, still works fine.


(And another problem: if the attached printer is not powered-on, Vista stops
sharing the printer, and changes the default printer. Very stupid.)

RDT stopped working after sp1.

And the network shares are not available.

Anybody with similar problems?
