Remote Desktop

hi, how to remote desktop without log off the host computer?

Hi june,

1. Get the remote user to invite you to help them. See local Windows
help for how to do that. Essentially they send you an rcbuddy email
that you need to receive and act on. Won't work if the remote desktop
is behind a NAT router though.

2. Use the free version of VNC (google for VNC for details). The free
version is not secure in itself. You can tunnel it thru a VPN tho &
its fine. Does not work on Vista (the free one that is).

Hope that helps,

You can't. While XP will allow multiple users to be logged on at the same
time, only one logon can be active at a time. You would need to use one of
the 3rd party remote access tools mentioned in the other replies to your
post.
