remote desktop works great! but remote printer not working at all?

Dear all,

I use remote desktop in XP to connect to a remote XP machine. That PC
does not have a printer, sometimes when I want to print some
documents, it asks " you should install a printer before you print any
page"...

But I did setup to use "connect printing to local printers" option
during my connection establishment.

And locally, on the client side, I have several printers, all
connected by LAN within our local LAN...

What is the problem? Anybody can help me out?

Have you tried re-directing one of your network printers to LPT1: ?
I think this has to be done to print to a client side non physically
connected printer.
