Remote Desktop, Windows XP SP3 Desktop on Windows Vista Ultimate

Hi, I'm trying to use Remote Desktop, to view a XP SP3 Desktop on Vista
Ultimate which has no service pack 1 on it. XP will access the Vista machine
via RD but not the other way round, Is this possible. If there is another
thread about this i've not seen it as I am Registered Blind, But have
Magnification Software, but still I do miss things.
 
Is remote desktop enabled on your XP machine? Is your XP firewall configured
to allow incoming RD connection request?
