Remote Desktop over Dial-up

The guide for XP pro and RD state that an Internet
connection is one of the requirements.

I am able to dial in to an XP pro machine, and gain access
to RD, but when I dial into the same PC from a PC on our
LAN (a machine on a domain) I get the "cannot connect to
remote computer...remote connections might not be
enabled....." message.

I've looked through the FAQ etc, I see no reference to
dial-up RD at all. Is this simply not supported and I
stumbled onto a "feature" ?

Let me be more clear.. After connecting and sucessfully
logging in, when attempting to start a remote desktop
session, I get that message.

After you connect to your "remote" system via dialup, make sure you
supply the IP address of the remote system - not the name.. There can
be issues with name resolution when in this environment.
