Is it possible to have a remote desktop setting using
Windows XP Home? Not professional?

Hi,

With Windows XP Home Edition, you can be the client and run the Remote
Desktop application to control another computer.

However you can't use Remote Desktop from another computer to try to log in
and "control" your Windows XP Home Edition computer.

You'll have to get WinXP Pro for that function.

Only XP Professional can be a remote desktop server, allowing other
computers to connect to it. For a similar capability on XP Home, try
RealVNC, from http://www.realvnc.com .
